The central theme of this day – a particularly interesting one – was “The lawyer and the digital” to which the “Let’s go digital!” slogan was attributed.
Many quality speakers have shed light on a variety of fascinating subjects, starting with the integrity of electronic data filing to the issue of e-commerce at work, cloud computing, cyber-risks and insurance, electronic payment, etc.
Koen Geens, Minister of Justice, came to enrich this day by exposing us to the measures that are being taken by his administration in order to ensure that businesses are taking advantage of digitization.
As always, the IJE has meticulously organized and guided this major event within the Belgian legal world.
The entirety of the speaker’s contributions has been put together in a book published by Bruylant in their collection “Le droit des affaires en évolution’’ (Evolving business law).
